Published? No.

Seeking publication? Perhaps after writing a couple of novels. I very much prefer short stories.I figure a theme to tie random stories together would allow me more freedom given my interests.

Writing Ideas? Yes.

Willing to co-author? I could try it out.

Current Writing Projects:

Messing about with Inform 7 (Interactive Fiction creator)

  • Breakfast Hunt: The concise memory of one day in my life in Ecuador. Do you want to grab a continental breakfast at the  Hacienda with co-workers/friends or head down to the docks and pick up a fresh bowl of fish soup (with corn the size of your head, manioc, and cilantro)?

Automaton.

  • Several short stories to comprise a larger, currently undisclosed, plot.
  • Themes: Free will, imagination and the tickle effect.

Barend.

  • Set in Robert E. Howard’s Conan universe (and in conjunction with the release of Age of Conan with my Roleplaying guild).
  • Cimmerians are xenophobic by nature. They can master the natural elements with ease, but still imprison themselves within their minds. What is it that can drive one to escape their mental cage, or have ambitions like Conan? Not everyone was as successful…cue Agett, the “Barend”.
  • Honor and fall. Enslavement to powers just for the sake of living. “Blessings are, like most things, a matter of perspective.”

My everyday.

  • I’ve cataloged my life via writing, either through rambling, recreation of events, and stream of consciousness since 2005. It’s not really something I’d share, but it’s kept me writing on my own when everything’s petered out. At times I’ll share snippets of the things I find “worth it”, though I do shoot a lot of chaff before ever hitting the mark.
